MPIBA Dues Increase 2026

Back in 2018, the board of directors and Executive Director made the decision to grant one year of free dues to new members, as well as drastically reduce membership dues for small and medium-sized bookstores. As the costs of running our association and providing benefits to our members continue to rise, the time has come for our first dues increase in almost 8 years.

Beginning January 1, 2026, dues for each bookstore membership category will go up $25, and dues for our industry partners will increase by $50 per category.

BOOKSTORE ANNUAL DUES BEGINNING 2026 -- First year is FREE!

1 to 5 employees – $50.00, $75
6 to 20 employees – $100.00, $125
21 to 50 employees – $125.00, $150
51 to 100 employees – $175.00, $200
101+ employees – $200.00, $225

INDUSTRY ANNUAL DUES BEGINNING 2026

1 to 20 employees – $150, $200
21 to 50 employees – $200, $250
51 to 100 employees – $250, $300
101+ employees – $300, $350

Dues are invoiced one month prior to a member's anniversary date. Please let us know if you have any questions about this change.
