Organization Overview
I managed the brick-and -mortar Literate Lizard in Sedona, Arizona for three years until the owner decided to close it for health reasons in 2020. With her blessing, I assumed ownership of the website I had created for the store.
My niche is political, focused on progressive politics and diverse voices. I run many 20% off promotions throughout the year, more than most indie bookstores, because I want to encourage people to purchase the books we feature.
I contribute a weekly column on nonfiction for the political website Daily Kos, as well as other book-related content there. My most active social media presence is on Bluesky (https://bsky.app/profile/theliteratelizard.bsky.social).
