Second Star to the Right

Second Star to the Right is an independent children’s & young adult bookstore in Denver, CO also offering toys & gifts. Inspired by J.M. Barrie’s Peter Pan, Second Star opened in 2014 with former elementary school teachers, Dea & Marc Lavoie, at the helm. We believe that there aren’t any kids who don’t like to read, only those who haven’t been introduced to the kinds of books that speak to them! A 2017 & 2018 Colorado Parent Family Favorite and 2019 Denver Westword Best Kids’ Bookstore, we are eager to help with that journey of exploration, through thoughtfully curated selections, author visits, themed storytimes, book clubs, and more.
