  • All Holiday Gift Guides are imprinted with your store’s logo, branding, and message; MPIBA does not offer non-imprinted catalogs. The NEW print edition will be four emails, which will go to your email list, powered by Shelf Awareness.
  • Please see the proof included in your July 2018 mailer.
  • If you are a bookstore NEW to the catalog, MPIBA pays for your entire shipping charges to your bookstore, newspaper destinations, and other locations.
  • Imprint art, changes and/or revisions due to MPIBA. If you need changes made or a new design, you will receive a revised PDF proof for approval from Kathy Keel:

October and November 2018

  • Holiday Gift Guides Ship to Bookstores and Other Destinations
    • Shipping is FREE for your first box of 500 imprinted Holiday Gift Guides. MPIBA will invoice you for shipping on the balance of your order at $18 per box of 500 catalogs.
    • If you are a bookstore NEW to the catalog, shipping is FREE to all destinations your first year of participation.
  • Holiday Gift Guide Orders OVER 6,000 Total Quantity
    • Shipped via Trucked Service
    • Allow at least two weeks or more for delivery, as these trucks make multiple stops before they get to you or your newspaper. Based on the destinations and quantities you specify below, your shipment is sent by truck to newspapers, the bookstore, and/or other locations.
  • Holiday Gift Guide Orders UNDER 6,000 Total Quantity
    • Shipped via Ground Service
    • ALL Holiday Gift Guides delivered to the bookstore address (and for Every Door Direct Mail) are shipped out via ground service in boxes of 500 with packets of Shelf Talkers included.

November 1, 2018

  • Earliest arrival date at newspaper.

November 8, 2018

  • Earliest date for a newspaper insertion.

November 2018

  • MPIBA will invoice you for Holiday Gift Guide trucked freight and ground service shipping charges. You can pay by credit card or by sending a check to the address listed on your invoice.

    Holiday Gift Guides and Digital Issues are FREE to bookstores! You only pay for shipping charges, if any; see information at the top of this page.

    Holiday Gift Guides produced by MPIBA are branded and store-specific; they are imprinted with your store logo on the front, and logo, address, coupon, special offer, map, etc., on the back.

    Fields marked with an ASTERISK are required fields; your form will not submit if these fields have not been completed.

  • Please have "A," "The," at the end of your bookstore name, separated by a comma.
  • Holiday Gift Guides cannot be shipped to P.O. box addresses, so make sure your street address is on the first line.

  • 6 - Every Door Direct Mail Explained

  • Please note that your imprint must be set up differently in order to qualify for EDDM.
    With Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) Retail service from the U.S. Postal Service, you can reach the market that matters most to your business: nearby neighborhoods.
    Postage can be as low as 14.5¢ per piece – and you don’t even need to know names or street addresses. You simply identify the neighborhoods you want to target, and your printed piece is delivered with the day’s mail to every address.
    Here’s how to participate:
    -Imprinted Holiday Gift Guides will be shipped to your bookstore address with the required USPS EDDM information in place.
    -You can send up to 5,000 catalogs out per day.
    -There are no minimums; quantities are based upon individual mail carrier’s total route.
    -Per-piece weight cannot exceed 3.3 ounces - our 12-page Holiday Gift Guide measures 6 1/8" x 10 3/4" (6.125" x 10.75") and weighs .053125 pounds or .85 ounces.
