Take Advantage of Financial Opportunities
for Bookstores and Booksellers!
We know budgets are tight and stores and booksellers aren’t always able to take advantage of the educational and networking opportunities available in our industry. And sometimes booksellers just need some help with personal or store-related emergencies. Financial help is available! See below for all the opportunities, and apply now!

Red Wheel/Weiser Tom Faherty Memorial Grant
Red Wheel/Weiser joins the wonderful booksellers of the Mountains & Plains Independent Booksellers Association in mourning the loss of a true “bookseller,” your publishers’ sales representative, Tom Faherty, Jr. This loss has left a hole in the bookselling community and a hole in our hearts.
We can’t think of a better way to honor Tom’s memory than sponsoring an independent bookseller to attend a regional conference that meant so much to him. If you would like to be considered for this $500 scholarship, please send us a note sharing a memory you have of Tom via e-mail to email@example.com. Deadline for applications is July 31.
