Our booksellers are ready to gather, and we are excited to present our fall show live and in-person! FallCon will be the perfect place to introduce your authors to booksellers and buyers from across our vast region.

Tentative Author Opportunities

 

Final event descriptions and schedules will be determined as authors are pitched.

Virtual appearances may be available, though the opportunity is not guaranteed. When pitching, please indicate if the author is available for in-person only, virtual only, or either.

 

In addition to appearance fees, plan to provide ARCs or finished books for attendees.

    Guest authors will have time to sign at designated cocktail tables, as well as time to mix-and-mingle and enjoy the party.

    Appearance Fee: $300

    Minimum 25 print ARCs or finished books

  • Author Speed Dating
  • Bookseller favorite events!
    Up to 15 authors per event.
    A fast-paced event where authors move from table to table, meeting booksellers and offering their best “elevator pitch.”

     

    Appearance Fee: $500

    Minimum 50 print ARCs or finished books

  • Author Meal Events
  • Up to 12 authors per event.
    Authors enjoy a meal with a table of booksellers, and talk briefly about their new books to the audience.

     

    Appearance Fee: $600

    Minimum 50 print ARCs or finished books

  • Theme Panels
  • Up to 6 authors per panel.
    Authors will give 5-minute individual book presentations. Then join a moderated panel with Q&A.

     

    Appearance Fee: $600

    Minimum 50 print ARCs or finished books

  • Keynote Presentation
  • We’ll explore keynote opportunities for authors throughout the show.

    A keynote would be to the largest audience, and authors could present or be in-conversation.

     

    Appearance Fee: $1000

    Minimum 100 print ARCs or finished books

Unmanned Display Table | $600

New this year for exhibitors who are not able to travel to Denver. Send your display books, products, marketing materials, signage, and giveaways to be placed on a table in the Display Corner of the Exhibit Hall.

  • MPIBA volunteers will set up and monitor the tables throughout the day.
    • Includes table cloth, skirt, set-up and monitoring of products.
    • Exhibitor must send any/all display requirements (book stands if applicable, etc.)
    • All items on your display table must be given away or donated when the Exhibit Hall closes — nothing will be returned.
    • Display Tables are limited and available while space lasts.
