Christina Baker Kline, the award-winning, bestselling author of eight novels, including The ExilesOrphan Train, and A Piece of the World, and acclaimed novelist Larry Watson, whose books include As Good As GoneLet Him Go, and Montana 1948 (winner of the 1994 Mountains & Plains Book Award for fiction), will join us in-conversation to discuss their forthcoming works of fiction. Kline’s novel The Exiles, told in exquisite detail and incisive prose, is a story of grace born from hardship, the unbreakable bonds of female friendships, and the unfettering of legacy. Larry Watson’s The Lives of Edie Pritchard is a multigenerational story of the West told through the history of one woman trying to navigate life on her own terms.
