Now in its 32nd year, this beautifully-designed, full-color catalog of new fall
titles reaches over half a million readers through insertion in regional newspapers
in November and free distribution to member bookstores.
DISTRIBUTION: The Winter Catalog is distributed through our 175
bookseller members, through local newspaper insertions, and by direct mail. Any
MPIBA member bookstore may receive an unlimited number of free, imprinted catalogs
when they agree to: use the Winter Catalog as their primary holiday sales piece, insert the catalog into local newspapers or direct mail the catalog to either a
purchased list or their customer list, and create a front-of-store display.
WHOLESALER PARTICIPATION: National and regional wholesalers receive
a complete list of advertised titles in advance, and they support the catalog
by keeping the titles in stock and by making generous stock offers to our member
stores.
FALL TRADE SHOW: Winter Catalog titles are showcased in a special
display. Sales reps are provided with free point-of-purchase materials to display
with their Catalog titles. Additionally, sales reps who have a book being advertised
in the Catalog are eligible to participate in the popular “Pick of the Lists”
sessions for booksellers. |
